A salon you watch like a film.
Hair Solution Clinic - Sylwia Sawicka, Wrocław. An immersive, bilingual website experience for a premium hair extension salon. Built from scratch to sell the level of service in the first three seconds.
The challenge
The salon offers a top-shelf service, and its previous website did not show it - it looked like a digital leaflet, not a premium experience. Clients decide emotionally, and within seconds.
The new site had to: hold attention immediately, present the salon's work cinematically, work in two languages (PL/EN), be fast and fully accessible - and be ready for production deployment.
What I built
A custom, single-file website - no templates, with care for every detail of motion and typography.
- Scroll-video hero - a film of the salon scrubbed by scrolling (smooth, with Range/206 support), guiding the viewer like an edit.
- Carousel gallery of work with a lightbox (660px thumbnails, full files on click).
- Bilingual PL/EN - a language switch, full translation of content, chat and messages.
- Assistant + form with email notifications, GDPR, a sound toggle.
- AI assets (Higgsfield: Nano Banana Pro + Seedance) where material was missing.
Craft and quality
Immersion should serve the message, not bury it. The site went through a full quality and accessibility audit:
- WCAG accessibility - 44px touch targets, contrast, a branded focus-visible style, a lightbox that closes with ESC.
- Full prefers-reduced-motion - people sensitive to motion get a calm version.
- Performance - lightweight, hand-written code, Lighthouse 90+.
- Video architecture - the film is served with Range support so scrubbing stays smooth (Cloudflare Pages does not provide that on its own).
The result
An award-level, immersive experience that looks like the work of a person, not a template - and sells the brand before the client reads the first sentence. Ready for production deployment on the client's hosting.
