Websites for clinics and medical practices.
Patients choose a clinic the way they choose a surgeon: in a few seconds, based on the feeling that the place is clean, calm and professional. I design and hand-code websites that create that feeling and lead straight to a booked appointment.
What patients look for in the first minute
Before anyone calls, they want answers to four things. A site that does not give them straight away hands the patient to the clinic down the street:
- Is it safe here - the team by name, their specialisations, photos of the real interior, not stock images of a smiling model.
- Do they do what I need - treatments described in the patient's words ("whitening", "implant"), not only in medical terminology.
- How long it takes and what it involves - the visit step by step, the duration, recovery, what to bring.
- How do I book, now - a tappable phone number on every screen, a booking form and the hours when someone actually answers.
Clinics that serve international patients face this twice over. Someone flying in for treatment cannot drop by the reception to get a feel for the place. The website carries the whole first impression, in a language the patient reads comfortably.
What a calm, cinematic site changes
In medicine, "cinematic" does not mean loud. It means a site that moves slowly and deliberately, gives space to the interior and the people, and never makes the patient hunt for the next step. Every element has one job: turn a visit to the website into a visit to the clinic.
- Booking without friction - a form or an integration with the system you already use; on a phone, the "Call" button always sits within thumb reach.
- A treatment catalogue - a separate, searchable page for each treatment. These pages attract search traffic from Google and from AI assistants.
- The team and their qualifications - profiles, licences, experience. In medicine this is the strongest element of trust.
- GDPR done properly - a privacy policy, consents next to the form, and no accidental sending of data to third-party tools.
- Care with marketing copy - in many countries advertising medical services and devices is regulated. I write the content in an informative tone and leave doubtful phrasing for your lawyer to confirm, instead of exposing the clinic to risk.
- Speed and accessibility - Lighthouse 90+, WCAG (contrast, keyboard, reduced motion), tested on a real phone.
- Visibility in Google and AI - structured data for the clinic, treatment descriptions and an FAQ written so that ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews can quote them.
- An AI assistant (web application layer) - optionally, a concierge that answers questions about treatments, preparation and opening hours using only content you approve, and passes booking requests to reception.
Three moments that fill the calendar
- The late-evening search. A patient with a chipped tooth searches on her phone at 10 pm and lands on your implant page, not the home page. It explains the procedure in plain words, shows who performs it and ends with a booking button. She books before she closes the tab.
- The face behind the name. A nervous first-time patient opens the team page, sees the dentist's photo, training and years of practice, and reads how the first consultation runs. Fear turns into a plan, and a plan turns into a call.
- The one-tap booking. On the treatment page the booking widget opens inside the site, styled like the rest of it. No jump to a foreign panel, no lost patient at the last step.
Matching work
There is no medical clinic case study in the portfolio yet, so here are the closest projects, honestly labelled:
- Hair Solution Clinic - a deployed, bilingual (PL/EN) site for a premium hair extension salon with a scroll-video hero, a gallery, an assistant and a booking form, WCAG and Lighthouse 90+. A real client in beauty, closest in logic to an aesthetic clinic.
- LUMEN (in Polish) - a dental and aesthetic medicine clinic concept by REELM. A working website, not a screenshot: open it on your phone and scroll to the end. Concepts are fictional brands built from scratch to show technology and finish.
More on the approach: immersive websites.
How we work
- 1. Brief - a short call about the clinic, the treatments that matter most, your patients and what you already have: photos, texts, a booking system.
- 2. Free concept - a visual direction, usually with a moving preview, approved before any code is written.
- 3. Build - pages, treatment catalogue, team profiles and booking integration on a live preview link you can follow at every step.
- 4. Audit - performance on real phones, accessibility, GDPR, structured data for search and AI engines.
- 5. Launch and care - domain, hosting, redirects from the old site, handover of code and accounts, and updates when treatments change.
Questions clinics ask
How much does a clinic website cost?
There is no fixed price list, because the scope varies several times over: a practice with five treatments is a different job from a clinic with a full team and a hundred-line price list. Every project is quoted individually. Send two sentences about the clinic and you get a free concept direction and a quote within 24 hours.
Can you move the content from our old website?
Yes. I move and tidy up whatever still has value and set up redirects from the old addresses, so the clinic does not lose its positions in Google.
Will the website be GDPR compliant?
Yes: a privacy policy, consents, minimal data in forms and no tracking without consent. Strictly legal questions for your clinic are worth confirming with a lawyer, and I build the site so that this review is easy.
We already use a booking system. Can we keep it?
Usually yes. Most booking systems offer a widget or a link. I embed it so that it looks like part of the site, instead of throwing the patient into an unfamiliar panel halfway through booking.
How quickly can we launch?
A simple practice website usually takes days. A larger clinic with a full treatment catalogue takes weeks. I set the date when quoting and keep to it.
Let patients feel safe before they arrive.
