The challenge

Craft chocolate lives on the senses - the gloss of a tempered bar, the snap when you break it, the colour of the fruit. An ordinary shop cannot convey that: it looks like a catalogue, not a premium experience.

The site had to play on appetite and craft from the very first second, tell the brand's story, and still let people buy - in other words, combine cinematic immersion with a real, clickable shop.

What I built

A custom, single-file brand site plus a separate, fully clickable shop - no templates, with care for every detail of motion and light.

  • Scroll-driven hero - a frame sequence of the bar scrubbed by scrolling, guiding the viewer like an edit.
  • Sticky "What's inside" plus a horizontal process rail (fruit harvest → freeze-drying → mould → bar) with descriptions.
  • Premium shop - 4 flavours (blueberry, wild strawberry, strawberry + a special edition with sheep's cheese and orange), product page, cart, checkout, order confirmation (localStorage).
  • Video loops in tiles and sections - looping with no visible jump (boomerang), built from the product photos.
  • Cocoa dust - a custom, lightweight particle effect in the background (canvas) that respects reduced-motion.
  • Brand logo - BRESLAU plus a handwritten "chocolate" with a gradient sheen of melted chocolate.

Craft and quality

Immersion is there to build appetite, not to get in the way of buying. The site is light, consistent and finished in detail:

  • A consistent art direction - one dark chocolate palette, a colour per fruit, the same light in every photo.
  • Loops with no visible jump - video looped forward and in reverse, running smoothly in tiles and sections.
  • Accessibility and motion - a menu with scroll-spy, responsive (hamburger), full prefers-reduced-motion.
  • Zero asset costs - all imagery generated locally (FLUX + WAN), with full control and privacy.

The result

An immersive chocolate brand that looks like the work of a person, not a template - it sells appetite before the customer reads the first sentence, and lets them go straight to buying. Ready for production deployment.

Your brand deserves the same.

I design and code sites like this personally, from the first frame to launch and the shop. Tell me about your project in two sentences and I will come back with an idea and a quote.
